Are there free Social Security seminars near me?
Yes. The Retirement Literacy Foundation teaches free Social Security seminars in public libraries and community centers across Orange County, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, and live on Zoom for anyone anywhere. The next free class is What changes for you in 2027, 30 minutes on Zoom: Wednesday, October 28, Tuesday, November 17 or Wednesday, December 2, at 10:00 AM PT. Nothing is sold.
What is a Social Security educational workshop?
A class that explains how Social Security works without selling a product: when to claim, spousal and survivor benefits, how benefits are taxed and the Medicare IRMAA surcharge. Our in-person classes run 60 to 90 minutes; the Zoom class on 2027 changes is 30 minutes.

Are these Social Security workshops really free?
Yes. Every workshop and seminar is free and open to the public. The Retirement Literacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 41-5062266); nothing is sold at our classes and no one takes commissions.
Where are the Social Security seminars held?
Live online on Zoom, and in person at public libraries and community centers across Southern California. Past sessions were held in Huntington Beach, Irvine, Yorba Linda, Laguna Niguel, Pasadena, La Cañada Flintridge, Temecula and Moreno Valley.
